Stage III Adjuvant Therapies

I am hearing that we may be seeing Keytruda (aka Pembro) coming up as approved for stage III. I know some of you have been able to get it off label already! The more the merrier!

I am new to this forum. Original melanoma 2013, in-transit metastasis in arm 2014. Three more ITM's in 2017. I am starting Nivolumab on Monday as adjuvant therapy if insurance will pay. I hope the side effects are minimal. I am BRAF negative. I just had the port o cath put in yesterday. Sometimes I feel down but I am really encouraged by some of the stories posted here. :)

Yes, the immunotherapies are very promising. It is normal to be down and out with this diagnosis though and you should get something to help with that. Counseling can be very helpful as well as exercise, meditation, and medication. Let us know how you are doing. We are here to support you.
