Hello, It's been a few years since I've visited here. My first melanoma was in 2012, since then I've had two additional melanoma in situs. One week ago I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. I'd like to know if anyone out there is knowledgeable about the other cancers your more likely to get once you've had melanoma. I've been dealing with my melanoma just fine, but since my most recent diagnosis I've been having a tough time. Any information would be great! Thank you!

Sorry for the delay. Melanoma and other cancers have little relationship. Melanoma is almost always caused by sun or tanning bed exposure. Whether other cancers can be caused by that too is not known well . Thyroid cancer is fairly common and usually easily treated with good results. I hope it goes well for you.
