Yesterday was 1 year since my WLE/SLNB. I don’t know whether to feel it’s a good anniversary. . one year out from it. .. .or the opposite since melanoma is so sneaky and it’s just a year closer to it possibly returning. I’ve probably had close to 30 additional biopsies since in the last year – all benign, some mildly dysplastic, etc… Well, it is what it is, I guess, and I know it could have been worse, I just hope it never is.

Congrats! I also celebrated one year in April. It does get easier as time goes by, doesn’t it??? Count your blessings that it was a very early stage – I know I do.

Got my dates mixed up, it’s actually today. . today is the 1 year date. 03-August.

Enjoy each moment going forward. There are no guarantees in life. But you are very lucky indeed with the melanoma diagnosis.
