    In 4 weeks it will be 2 years after having TIL at NKI (Netherlands) in 2011. Today I had another 4-month scan and I am still completely free of melanoma. Mixed feelings looking back and thinking of all the dear mel.palls we have lost since then….

    Hi,

    How wonderful to know you are 2 yearas after and all is fine1 I think we all need it. I am happy for you, but I am also happy for us because it gives us hope for the future – not knowing what to expect since we (my husbad) are only 3 months after starting Zelboraf and life are still on rollocoster , trying to get used to the problem, the future and the medication. I hope you will continue this way, and that we will all be able to win this dreadful war!

    Hein,

    What was your disease burden before Til and where was your sample lesion taken from. Did you have high dose TIL?

    @ Lak1,

    I was stage IV, finished with Vemurafenib and Yervoy and had no new alternatives and maybe 3 months to live. I had about 20 egg- to fistsize tumors on my right upperleg of which half of them already bursted open. You can read back on my threads http://forum.melanomainternational.org/mif/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=24542 and http://forum.melanomainternational.org/mif/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=27650.

    @Lak,

    If you mean by ‘high dose’ my amount of T-cells: 196 billion, which is extremely high.
