    Just to share that Amy’s husband died a few days ago. She was a superior caregiver!!

    Oh no. I am so sad to hear this. Amy we are all grieving with you. Just know you were one of the greatest caregivers I have encountered on here. Please take care of yourself and give yourself time to grieve properly. We are here if you need us.

    Thank you all for your kind words and the support over the past three years. I am experiencing a normal (whatever that means!) mix of relief, disbelief, anger but also gratitude for family and friends including those on this forum who literally in cyberspace helped me become as knowledgeable as I could be on this nasty cancer. I prayed and researched and advocated and we went to the best melanoma centers and while the treatments didn’t save John, I am sure his life wS extended. I want to believe that. I hope to see more melanoma patients (hopefully the majority and not minority) saved in my lifetime. Good luck to you all and keep up the fight!
