My son is changing treatments and is being offered ipi/nivolumab or ipi/lirilumab which is an Anti-kir. Does anyone else have any experience with Anti-kir or know more about it?

Blocking Kir is thought to activate another branch of the immune system and might complement other immune therapies. No results yet however, but promising.

The other question is: the ipi/anti-kir is a phase I, the ipi/nivolumab is a phase II…does that matter?

Phase 1 means they are looking for toxicity and dosage, not a lot more is known. Phase II means they are beyond the dosaging phase.
