Foundation Medicine Announces New Data Using Next-Generation Sequencing to Detect Cancer-Related Mutations Not Identified by Conventional Methods.

He has signed forms at Md Anderson for this company to test his tissue. He is responding to MEK and is Braf negative! Makes no sense. So far the 8 to 10 tests on his tumor has not identified his type. There is a relationship there somewhere.

We are hoping this will give us some useful information and help him fight his way to NED using some combos. The trial now that he is on includes MEK and Alimta chemo. He is going for infusion 20 this month but the side effects of low white blood cells puts him at risk.

There will be more companies like this as the research continues. Blessing to all.

This is great news! It is my understanding that if your tumors are RAS positive you may respond to MEK. We are in exciting times. This is wonderful Sharon.

Think of you both often. You have always brought hope with your stories. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
