    I would much rather get an MRI than CT because it doesn’t involve the radiation, but Dr

    says MRI is not at all useful for the lung. Is that true, nobody gets MRIs to look at lungs?

    It does seem that a lot of doctors prefer the CT. I’m not quite sure why. One doc told me that the CT was simply better for certain things. Beats me. Like you, and for obvious reasons, I prefer the MRI route. It’s noisy and lengthier, but at least I don’t worry about all that radiation.
