I really appreciate all your team does with this website. It has been a great resource since my melanoma in situ diagnosis last April. It was on the shoulder and removed via WLE. I had MD Anderson review the pathology reports and met on person with one of their dermatologists (Dr. Susan Chon) for a skin exam and mole photography.

I have a quick question for you. I want to change dermatologists this year to someone that specializes more in melanoma and less on cosmetics. Despite the melanoma diagnosis, my quarterly skin exams are completed by a PA. PA is great and trained at UT Southwestern, but I have probably 50 plus irregular moles and feel like I need to turn my care over to a specialist. Dr. Chon recommended UT Southwestern as a local option in Dallas. Any thoughts on this center? Any specific dermatologists you would recommend reviewing?

    Thanks for your insights.

    All the Best,

    Catherine Poole

    Hi Bryan,

Glad to hear all is well with you. This recommendation looks like a good one. I checked it out here: http://www.utswmedicine.org/conditions-specialties/dermatology/

They definitely aren’t doing cosmetic stuff there and there are specialists as well. I would give it a try.

    Hello everyone

    Thanks for updating me….
