    UCLA opened a new cohort of up to 200 patients within the phase 1 trial of the anti-PD-1 antibody MK3475/lambrolizumab. There is no control arm so all the patients receive the anti-PD-1 antibody.

    Other sites accruing: Dr. Hamid at The Angeles, Dr. Patnaik at START in San Antonio and Dr. Kefford in Australia are open. The remaining sites are listed at clinicaltrials.gov and will open in the coming months – same sites

    Dr. Daud at UCSF is also running this trial — we are signing the consent forms this week and hoping to start June 3. Fingers and toes crossed that my dad qualifies. I’m so worried about brain mets (though he was clear as of early March) or liver function or blood tests…
