    Good news-

GSK has submitted their BRAF/ MEK inhibitor combo for approval in Europe!

    http://www.gsk.com/media/press-releases/2013/Regulatory-update-European-submission-MEK-monotherapy-BRAF-MEK-combination-therapy-metastatic-melanoma.html

The combination of BRAF/MEK inhibitor has been shown to delay resistance considerably when compared to monotherapy with one of the inhibitors alone ( ca 9 as opposed to 6 months- check the last ASCO meeting), so this is really good news for patients with the BRAF mutation!!

The submission has been approved for fast track as well, so fingers crossed the times for monotherapy will be over soon!

This is fantastic! Amy is on braf/mek right now and in only 10 days is so much better! So happy to hear this for all our European friends!
