    Dear all,

registration to the next conference from the Melanoma Independent Community Advisory Board (28th-30th March in Brussels) on PATIENT PARTICIPATION IN MELANOMA CLINICAL RESEARCH is now open:

Clinical research and clinical trials are very strongly influenced by the responsible regulatory authorities like the FDA/ US or the EMA/ Europe and then national reimbursement systems which make the situation very different for Melanoma patients depending on their place of residence.

This conference will focus on the situation in Europe and is therefore mainly of interest for Melanoma Patients in Europe.

The 3rd m-icab conference will be co-organized by the European School of Oncology and will be held in honour of Patricia Gracia-Prieto (‘Pati’) whom many of you will know and who lost her fight to Melanoma only last summer. Pati was a dear friend and an amazing support when Peter, my husband, was dying of Melanoma- her life and work will not be forgotten.

Hope to see you in Brussels in March!

    Bettina

The pleasure is mine! It looks like it will become a constructive meeting- there is something that needs to be done about the way clinical trials currently look!
