Melanoma and ssdi

Hey Gang… back from Derm she cleaned out the 2 atypical moles they were frigging deep.. also ive been following a mole spreading through my tattoo it has grown fast in the last 2 weeks and she biopsy it yesterday too..she seem concerned … so anyway

If Melanoma comes back do you qualify for ssdi?? this is what I found on the SSDI site?

Malignant melanoma qualifies for Social Security disability benefits if it meets one of the following criteria:

•Recurrent after wide excision, or

•With metastases to adjacent skin (satellite lesions) or elsewhere

is this automatic will they force you to quit working? any thoughts? Thanx!!!!

It’s funny because some of the ones my dermatologist was nervous about came back fine and vis versa:-)

I don’t think you qualify for disability unless you are actually disabled and you can’t work. I have 4 melanomas and I can still work:-)

I hope yours come back normal.
