Two years ago was tested positive for Melanoma in right forearm. Had incision to remove, no signiticant addtional in node closest to….Thus opted to go not have lymph nodes removed in right arm pit area, and opted to ‘wait and see period”

due to State III status and various treatments being questionalble as to their potential benefits.

Recently, had a small bump beneath skin appear above left hip below love handle area. Had removed and tested for melanoma. Currently having additiional incision for the margins, and when complete have an appointment with a Specialist to Discuss.

Question I have is has anyone had a ‘transient node’ occurlance like this —-in which original detection was on one side of your body, and now there is another occurance on the oppositie side-as in my case?

Melanoma can travel and often misbehaves. So it is feasible to start on one side and switch to the other. Let us know how things go for you.
