    I found a local nonprofit that offers short-term counseling (maximum of 8 sessions) for cancer patients free of charge. I called, was referred to an intake specialist, and made an appt for next week; so, hopefully, I will learn some techniques to keep my mind a little more relaxed.

    Congratulations on finding this service. Counseling can be a wonderful thing. I hope you will get the tools you need to cope with your issues. Our mind and body work together very closely so think of it as a way to improve your immune system too!!
