Many of the new therapies are not just temporary. The GSK Braf/mek was just approved for prescription and should be available next week. The anti-pd1 is available in clinical trials in many locations. Where do you live? You need to be seen at a center of excellence. We can help you.

    Jen,

I am not in a position to offer any good advice but to build on Catherine’s comment, some of the “older” therapies are not just temporary. I am aware of several long term Zelboraf responders; next week I will have been on it forty months. Best of luck to you and your husband.

Jen, I would head to Sloan Kettering or NYU. Sloan Kettering’s team is comprehensive and I know them better than NYU, but I believe they work together. There are many promising therapies to ask about. see the experts for some answers.
