What questions would you ask the onocologist

I am newly diagnosed. Melanoma was found in an enlarged lymph node and so far no primary tumor was found. I go for my scans early next week and have my First onocologist visit shortly thereafter.

I’ve seen a number of websites with lists of questions to ask, but woukd love to hear from the community what questions they would ask.

I would ask where the primary tumor may have originated. I would ask if you are BRAF negative or positive. Then I would discuss immunotherapy and the BRAF therapies and also find out about any promising clinical trials. Was the node macro or micro involved? Let us know how things go for you.
