I am 32 years old from Europe but living in TX with 2 young children.

I was having a light brown spot that looked exactly like sun spot on my forehead. I didn't pay attention because "I was sure" that it's only a sunspot. The last few weeks it started to change to a darker color and I got worried. Went to the MD today and the sample is being sent for biopsy. The whole area is about 1 cm. The MD prepared me that she thinks it's Melanoma.

I imagine this is a scary time for you and that is normal. Waiting is hard and I'm sure you want to spring into action. It does sound like you kept on eye on your skin and if this is melanoma it is caught early. Be sure to ask for a copy of your pathology and we can help you understand it. We will be here to support you and you are not alone. Be sure to breathe and live in the moment as much as possible. Keep in touch!
